(Founder and Executive Director)
There are numerous socioeconomic challenges which need a hands-on approach in order to address them. However, the passive nature of our current society and generation makes it overly difficult to find lasting solutions to them. If the volumes of knowledge we acquire through our schooling do not teach us the skills to invent and solve our own problems then we are doing a disservice to ourselves and the next generation.

Adelaide Sarfoa Adjei
(Chief Operating Officer)
Even though I am an astute believer in the sayings of Mahatma Gandhi; I found it particularly intriguing when he said “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” This is one of the guiding tenets around which my life has evolved.
I am Adelaide Sarfoa Adjei, the Chief Operating Officer of Youth Initiative for Africa Development. I am currently a Second year Post graduate Law student at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, GIMPA. My passion for social service landed me in the field of law even though I graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Cape Coast.
During my undergraduate studies, I was fortunate to be a member of a club on campus which did periodic outreach to neighboring basic schools in the vicinity. I am naturally passionate about the plight of others especially the youth and I bring on board my wealth of experience from working with various law chambers to support in the best possible way in addressing the plights of the 21st Century youth.
